Three Rivers Montessori School
Three Rivers Montessori School has a long, rich history in the city of Fort Wayne. Founded in 1967, the school is now in its fifth decade of providing a premier education for thousands of area children.

In its origination TRMS was housed in local church buildings. In 1995 a capital campaign was launched to purchase land and construct a new building. A 10-acre homestead (including a farmhouse, barn, woods, creek and a pond) was purchased and in 1997 the TRMS "Children’s House" building opened.
The neighboring gray house was purchased in 1999 and was used for additional classroom space due to an increase in enrollment. This was followed by an expansion of the Children’s House to add more classrooms and a library.
In 2004, TRMS began its first strategic planning process which led to the development of its new Family Centered Montessori Vision. In the spring of 2007, the Board of Directors announced the plan to include an upper elementary program. The 2009-2010 school year will be the first year of its implementation.
